Our team is familiar with all aspects of historic mining activity and will always endeavor to tailor investigations to meet the needs and requirements of individual clients. We are specialists in comprehensive site investigations using our extensive archive of southwestern mine plans dating back 100's of years. Our experts have years of experience in detailed Cornish mine searches.
Centuries of mining have left some areas at risk of subsidence as result of historic mining activity.
We will provide a report any features related to historic mining, our reports cover the local geology, mine plans and our extensive archive of material.
If a property is deemed a risk to subsidence a property inspection may be required.
The inspection will cover the entire property and look for any defects that may be sign of subsidence related to features indicated in the documentary mine search
If a recorded feature is believed to be present under the property a site investigation may be deemed necessary.
We are experienced with rotary percussion drilling and excavations and will tailor our investigation to the needs of our clients taking in account the hazards with each different investigation.
