Richard joined Westcountry mines in 2009 and he is responsible for production of our Mining Searches.
Richard has over 20 years of invaluable experience compiling, interpreting and historic maps and plans.
Richard enjoys fishing along the Cornish rivers and is an avid beekeeper.
Simon has been a RICS certified surveyor, with over 25 years of relevant mining and property experience and is our in house specialist for property inspections.
Coming from a family with four generations of experience in Cornish mining industry, Simon has a developed a unique understanding of Cornwall's mining industry.
Simon spends his free time fishing along the Cornish coast.
After graduating from Camborne School of Mines, Nic worked as a Mining Consultant at Cornwall Consultants ltd in Cornwall.
Nic joined Westcountry mines in 2015. He is an expert compiling Mining Searches and undertaking and supervising Mining Investigations.
Growing up with keen attitude for geology within Cornwall has afforded Nic an unique insight into Cornish geology and the issues and nature of old mine workings have throughout Cornwall. He is able to apply this valuable perspective and working knowledge to the interpretation and assessment of mining hazards.
Nic has an active family life and in his spare time enjoys exploring Cornwall's rich mining history.
Dylan is a Geologist with an BSc in Geology from Camborne School of Mines. Before joining Westcountry Mines, he worked as a GIS technician on a variety of historic plans Conrish Mines .
Dylan joined Westcountry Mines in 2019 and his geological background is an asset to our mining site investigation team.
In his spare time, Dylan enjoys walking around the Cornish coastline and exploring its mining heritage.
